Saturday class runs from 9am-3pm, with a break for lunch. This workshop will introduce participants to using tools effectively and the basics of forging metal. We will cover a variety of introductory blacksmithing techniques, including: tapering, shouldering, spreading, bending, curling, burnishing, riveting, and hot cutting.

Two-person capacity per class allows for lots of hands on learning and instruction. All tools, safety gear, and materials will be provided. Long pants and close-toed shoes are required.

Classes located at Skyline Farm: 95 The Lane Road, North Yarmouth, Maine. Class can be returned for a full store credit no less than 30 days before class date.
